Shannon, I ask for thoughts and get ranted at?

I haven't assumed or accused Shannon's step father, it just annoy's me that no one cares because her perants are not middle class. S o what are your thoughts? no rants!Shannon, I ask for thoughts and get ranted at?
think there is more to this story than meets the eye - and i dont think that shannon was an unwilling abductee going by whats come out so far

she seemed to be able to walk around the flat as she was heard by the neighbours and clearly identified as a child walking - she wasnt heard crying, shouting or upset in anyway by the neighbour

dont think that her class has anything to do with this - think what we have is a lil girl in a difficult family situation - and something has gone on

what u cant deny is her poor mothers distress though thinking her daughter had been kidnapped,or possibly killed and now

that family needs help and to be left alone to rebuild

shannon is home safe and that we should be grateful for - other children arnt so luckyShannon, I ask for thoughts and get ranted at?
I think the problem with lack of coverage from the media is down to the fact that they were initially led to believe that Shannon had ran away, as such making it a story purely of local interest than national. After all, there is a difference between a runaway nine-year-old who will surely come home (or be found) in a couple of days compared with a child snatched off the streets. The media interest did increase exponantially when it became apparent that this was not a runaway case.

Class does play a part in media coverage and public interest but I don't think it's fair to say it's the be-all and end-all of everything. James Bulger and Sarah Payne were not middle class and they had much interest in their cases.
Personally, we should be grateful that she is back safe, although i do think people are judging because of their background, so what if the mother has kids with lots of men, a child still went missing, when madeline went missing her parents got a spokesperson and met the pope, when shannon went missing everyone was talking about how many kids the poor woman had. Its all to do with class, if you live in a council house your looked down on, if your high flying doctors with a posh house, then nothing could possibly be your fault. Just my opinion
i was so happy i burst out crying..the situation was so close to my heart, maybe cause i have an 8yrs old daughter,i just love kids, godbless her and her family..paula x
I think the British love to look down there noses at others, it makes them feel superior.

Edit: How many more times is CT gonna cut and paste that drivel into a question?
Hi Miss P

My thoughts, well, like most other strange cases (such as the McCanns) , before any details are known, there is a frenzy amongst the British public who are all trying to outdo each other with the best outlandish reason for the event.

It's like a sharks feeding frenzy and people must actually climax over it. I think it's very sad that any child in this country cannot expect to feel safe in any location, I think it's even sadder when the general public ammuse themselves with the sheer sadness of these situations.

However. that's the society we have created, those who commit the crimes and those who gloat over the consequences of them.
what has class got to do with it ? nothing. it is sickening when any child goes missing regardless of what kind of life they have.
It's got nothing to do with class (or at least, it shouldn't have) I think an awful lot of people feel that maybe Shannon's parent(s) know more than has been made public - hence the EPO - to make sure she remains safe until the authorities have established all the facts - the important thing is that Shannon is alive - as I have said previously, 'safe and well' remains to be seen
that's yahoo answers for you.
I am as guilty as anyone of making assumptions, however, ranting at the poster of a question is pointless.
I am so so happy little Shannon has been found safe and well. It's wonderful news, however i do feel there's much more to this than meets the eye. Maybe it wasn't quite the dreadful ' ordeal' for her we think it was...afterall she didn't want to go home did she?? In all honesty can you blame her? And just maybe the reports are right and she was compliant in going into the flat with Donovan. Whatever happened i hope whoever is involved in this is brought before the courts and they rot in jail. And may Shannon be cared for by people who truly know what parenting is all about. I mean, did anyone else find the statement by the mother very odd when she said she thought someone they know had taken Shannon just to hurt her??!
Its not so much that they arent middle class they are zero class, I assumed all along there would be a family connection and hey ho, the bloke in the bed with her is 'extended family'.
